Walker is a gentle, older Akita mix with a soft heart hidden behind shy, unsure eyes. Found roaming alone, he’s been a quiet resident of the shelter since 8/29/2025, slowly learning that not all humans are scary. Walker takes his time getting to know new people, but once he feels safe, his sweetness begins to shine through. He’s searching for a patient and understanding home – one willing to give him the time, love, and trust he needs to finally feel at peace.
