Penelope’s story is one of quiet resilience. She and her sister, Annabelle, came to the shelter 8/18/2025 after being abandoned along with chickens and turkeys on their previous owners’ property. Though life has been uncertain, Penelope has kept her gentle spirit. She is a sweet soul who leans toward the timid side, but once she feels safe, her playful side shines through. Calm and low key most of the time, she enjoys the comfort of her sister’s company-they’re currently roommates and find comfort in each other’s presence. With one warm brown eye and one striking blue, Penelope’s gaze is as unique as her heart. She’s patiently waiting for a family who will see the beauty in her quiet ways and give her the love and security she has always deserved.
