Eustis is a gentle giant with a heart that has been through far too much. Believed to be a Shar Pei and Great Pyrenees mix, this big, soulful boy came to the shelter 8/12/2025 after being heartbreakingly abandoned and left to fend for himself. Understandably, he is timid and cautious, especially around men, but with women he SHINES- leaning in for affection and quietly soaking up all the love he can get. Eustis has also shown he does well with other dogs, and with time and patience, he continues to blossom more each day. Though still decompressing, he is proving to be incredibly sweet, loyal, and eager to bond. He redirects well, showing that underneath his nerves is a heart that wants to trust again. Eustis is fully house trained, walks beautifully on leash, and has a soft spot for cozy beds where he can feel safe and secure. What he needs most is an understanding and patient home willing to show him that he will never be left behind again. With love and kindness, Eustis is sure to give back tenfold.
