Meet Chico, a resident of the shelter since 1/22/2025. Chico is a strong-willed, and intelligent German Shepherd who would thrive in the hands of an experienced owner. With his dominant personality, he requires a strong, firm, and consistent handler who understands the breed’s needs and behavior, while providing patience, structure, and leadership. While he’s incredibly smart, and food-motivated, he’s still learning to trust and requires someone who can help him build confidence. With the right guidance, Chico will be a loyal, and devoted companion.
