McGee is the embodiment of what you think of when you hear the word “hound.” Residing here at the shelter since 9/17/2024, McGee prides himself on *singing* the song of his kind, and fancies himself as a Houdini of sorts. McGee would benefit from a (tall & secure) fenced in yard, with someone who is familiar with hound behavior and tendencies. He would do best as an only dog as he seems to like having all eyes on him. McGee is a beautiful and intelligent boy who needs a strong, patient, and knowledgeable owner to give him the opportunity to meet his full potential.
